Astrology

introduction

At its heart, this platform is about self-understanding — and astrology is one of the languages we use to reach that. It’s not just about horoscopes or sun signs. It’s about patterns, symbols, and the emotional maps that live underneath our daily lives.

Astrology offers a mirror — not to predict who we are, but to reflect what’s already within us. It speaks in archetypes, rhythms, and cycles. It gives shape to what we feel but can’t always explain.

For us, astrology is a creative and psychological tool. We don’t claim to have cosmic answers — but we do believe in the power of symbolic storytelling, and how aligning with planetary timing can deepen both reflection and healing.

our approach

We work with Tropical astrology using the Whole Sign house system. This means our content is rooted in a tradition that follows the seasons and uses clear, equally sized houses — allowing each sign to rule one full area of life. We focus on the natal chart as a tool for self-awareness, emotional reflection, and creative expression.

Our astrology is:

  • Symbolic, not predictive. We don’t forecast your fate — we explore the deeper meanings behind what you’ve experienced, what patterns show up in your inner world, and how cycles of change unfold.
  • Psychological, not fatalistic. You are not ruled by the planets — but you can work with their rhythms. Astrology gives language to emotional truths, and space to reflect on the unconscious. It can illuminate your shadows as much as your strengths.
  • UK-based.All of our astrology content is created using London, UK time zones, and rooted in how astrology plays out culturally in this space — while always honouring its global and ancient origins.
  • Integrated. We don’t use astrology as a trend. We use it as a lens — woven into our writing, creative work, and reflections on mental health, healing, love, and identity.

We’re not here to preach answers or perform cosmic authority. We’re here to share what we’ve lived, studied, and felt — and how astrology has helped shape that journey.

Types of Astrology

Astrology has many branches, traditions, and systems — each offering its own language for interpreting the stars. While we focus on Tropical astrology with a Whole Sign house system, we acknowledge and respect the richness of other forms.

Here’s a brief look at some of the main types you might come across:

Tropical Astrology

Used widely in the Western world, Tropical astrology is based on the seasons, beginning with Aries at the Spring Equinox. It maps planetary placements against the Earth’s relationship to the Sun and is the system we use throughout our platform.

Sidereal Astrology

Used mainly in Vedic (Indian) astrology, Sidereal astrology aligns more closely with the actual constellations in the sky. It can offer a more fixed or karmic lens on the chart, often used in spiritual and life path readings.

Whole Sign Houses

This is the house system we use — where each zodiac sign becomes an entire house. It simplifies interpretation and gives clarity to how life areas (like identity, family, relationships, etc.) are influenced.

Placidus / Other House Systems

Many astrologers use Placidus, Koch, or other time-based systems, which divide houses unevenly. While we honour those methods, we prefer the intuitive clarity of Whole Sign in the work we do.

Psychological Astrology

This is where astrology overlaps with inner work — often drawing from Jungian psychology, archetypes, and symbolism. It’s less about prediction and more about self-inquiry. Much of our work is rooted in this approach.

We share current astrological transits and energy updates for all 12 zodiac signs — not as fixed predictions, but as tools for reflection, guidance, and emotional awareness.

Why Astrology Matters

Astrology isn’t about controlling the future — it’s about understanding yourself. It gives language to feelings you couldn’t name before. It helps you see patterns in your emotions, relationships, cycles, and choices. It reminds you that nothing happens in isolation — not your heartbreak, not your healing.

For us, astrology is a way of making meaning. It connects the personal with the universal. The same sky that holds Saturn and Neptune, that pulls the tide, also shapes how we grow through grief, creativity, love, and self-discovery.

We use astrology to:

  • Reflect on emotional patterns
  • Explore shadow work and self-sabotage
  • Understand cycles of growth, release, and rebirth
  • Honour identity, nuance, and personal timing
  • Bring symbolism into writing, healing, and art

We don’t see astrology as a fixed truth. We see it as a mirror — one that speaks through archetypes, emotion, and time. You don’t have to “believe” in it. You just have to feel when it’s speaking to you.

How We Use Astrology

Astrology is woven into everything we create — not as a gimmick, but as a guiding rhythm. You’ll see it in our writing, in the metaphors we use, in the way we explore emotions, identity, healing, and love.

We share:

  • Reflections on current planetary transits
  • Energy readings for the 12 zodiac signs
  • Moon phase insights and emotional cycles
  • Astrological symbolism in poetry and personal essays
  • Thematic deep dives into signs, houses, and planetary archetypes

Sometimes it shows up subtly, other times it’s front and centre. But whether we’re talking about trauma, creativity, heartbreak, or growth — the stars are often holding a mirror to it.

We don’t follow a rigid schedule with astrology posts — we share them when they feel aligned, intuitive, and meaningful. This isn’t content for the sake of it. It’s an offering.
