Let Your Voice Be Heard
Writing That Transforms Experience Into Meaning
At Poem Stellium, we believe in the power of language to hold what is difficult to name. Not everything needs to be explained. Some experiences need to be shaped, witnessed, and expressed.
We invite writers to submit work that explores emotional, psychological, and lived experience through poetry, reflection, or narrative. This is not about saying everything. It’s about saying something that means something.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome writing that engages with inner life, identity, and personal transformation, as well as grief, healing, memory, and becoming. We are drawn to work that understands silence, complexity, and contradiction, and is willing to sit inside emotional truth rather than rush to explain it.
Your work can be raw or refined, structured or fluid, but it should carry intention, awareness, and depth. We are not looking for surface-level expression. We are looking for writing that stays with the reader.
Form & Style
You may submit poetry, personal essays, reflective writing, letters, or hybrid forms. There is no single way to tell the truth, but there is a difference between expression and craft, and we value both.
A Note on Scope
Poem Stellium is a creative platform, not a therapeutic or crisis support service. We understand that writing often comes from deeply personal places, but we are not equipped to provide mental health support or respond to urgent or crisis-based disclosures. If you are currently in distress, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified professional or a trusted support service.
Anonymity & Privacy
You are welcome to publish under your name, use a pseudonym, or remain anonymous. We will always respect your boundaries and will never publish your work without your consent.
Submission Guidelines
Send your work to submissions@poemstellium.com with the subject line “Share Your Story” – Poem Stellium”.
Submissions are typically between 300 and 1,000 words depending on form. You can paste your work into the email body or attach a Word or Google document. You may also include a short bio and any relevant links, and let us know if you would prefer to remain anonymous.
Due to the volume and care each piece requires, responses may take up to one month.
What Happens Next
If your work is selected, we may lightly edit for clarity and flow while preserving your voice. You will always be contacted before publication, and where appropriate, we may include your bio, links, or accompanying creative work.
Final Note
This is a space for writing that holds weight, for work that transforms experience into something felt rather than simply said, and for voices that are intentional, reflective, and unafraid to sit with complexity. Your voice is welcome here when it is ready to be shaped into something meaningful.
