1. Who can submit to your competitions or submissions?

Our competitions and submissions are open to anyone aged 16 and above.

2. Are submissions free?

Some of our submissions and projects are free, while others require a small fee to participate. Paid submissions help us sustain the platform and support our projects.

3. Can I submit if I’m outside of London or the UK?

Yes. As long as your work is written in English, you can submit from anywhere in the world.

4. Can I join your writing sessions and events?

Yes. We offer both in-person and online sessions. All sessions run on London (UK) time.

5. What types of work can I submit?

We accept poetry, short prose, and other forms of creative writing. Some projects may include specific themes or prompts.

6. How will my work be used if selected?

Selected work may be published on our website, social media, zines, or in printed collections. Full credit is always given.

7. Can I submit work I’ve already published elsewhere?

No. We only accept unpublished work, including work not shared on social media.

8. When do submissions open?

Submissions open periodically throughout the year. At times, we may pause submissions to focus on other projects.

9. Can I submit work on behalf of someone else?

Yes, with their permission, and as long as they meet the age requirement.

10. Will I receive a response after submitting?

Due to high volume, we may not respond to every submission individually. All work is read and considered.

11. Do you have a physical office?

No. Poem Stellium is an online platform and operates remotely.

12. Where are your events hosted?

Most in-person events take place in London, UK. We also host online sessions.

We do not offer individual feedback for all submissions, but some workshops and sessions include guided feedback.
