Professional Wellbeing & Psychology Collaborative Network
Connecting psychology, mental health and creative expression through meaningful professional collaboration.
At Poem Stellium, we believe that creativity and psychological understanding can complement one another in meaningful ways.
Through poetry, creative writing, educational discussions, community events and mental health awareness initiatives, we aim to encourage reflection, self-expression and a deeper understanding of the human experience.
As our organisation continues to develop, we’re establishing a Professional Wellbeing & Psychology Collaborative Network, bringing together individuals from different psychological, therapeutic and mental health disciplines who share an interest in creativity, education and community engagement.
Our aim is to develop lasting professional relationships built on mutual respect, shared knowledge and meaningful opportunities for collaboration.
About the Network
Our Professional Wellbeing & Psychology Collaborative Network is an ongoing initiative designed to connect Poem Stellium with professionals whose knowledge and experience may complement our creative and educational projects.
Rather than recruiting individuals for fixed weekly positions, we aim to establish a network of professionals who may be invited to collaborate on relevant projects according to their expertise, interests and availability.
We recognise that professionals have their own practices, careers, responsibilities and commitments.
For this reason, participation is flexible, with opportunities discussed individually and agreed upon in advance.
Joining the network does not guarantee project involvement, nor does it create an obligation to accept every invitation.
We also welcome professionals who wish to propose their own ideas for collaborative projects.
Who We’re Interested in Connecting With
We welcome expressions of interest from qualified professionals, experienced practitioners and individuals undertaking recognised professional training in relevant disciplines.
These may include:
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Psychotherapists
- Counsellors
- Psychoanalysts
- Mental health practitioners
- Integrative therapists
- Art and creative arts therapists
- Drama and movement therapists
- Professionals specialising in child and adolescent mental health
- Professionals working in trauma, grief and bereavement
- Relationship and family therapy professionals
- Professionals working in community mental health and psychological wellbeing
This list is not exhaustive.
We recognise that psychology, mental health and therapeutic practice encompass a wide range of disciplines, approaches and specialisms.
If your professional background aligns with our interests in creativity, psychological understanding and community engagement, we welcome you to introduce yourself.
Opportunities for Collaboration
Our network is intended to support a variety of creative, educational and community-based initiatives.
Depending on individual expertise and project requirements, opportunities may include:
Creative Writing & Wellbeing Workshops
Collaborating on workshops that explore the relationship between psychological wellbeing, personal reflection and creative expression.
This may involve contributing professional knowledge, discussing relevant psychological concepts or providing an appropriate wellbeing presence during emotionally sensitive sessions.
Educational Discussions & Interviews
Participating in conversations exploring psychology, mental health, human behaviour, emotional development and related subjects.
These discussions may take place through interviews, online conversations, recorded content or community events.
Poetry & Creative Community Events
Contributing to events that bring together poetry, storytelling, creativity and psychological understanding.
Mental Health Awareness Initiatives
Collaborating on projects connected to mental health awareness, including initiatives taking place throughout the year and around recognised awareness dates.
Publications & Written Contributions
Contributing professional perspectives, educational commentary or reflective discussions to relevant Poem Stellium publications and creative projects.
Collaborative Project Development
Working together to develop new ideas that connect professional psychological knowledge with creative expression.
We are particularly interested in collaborations that encourage thoughtful discussion, accessible education and meaningful community participation.
All activities are developed according to the nature of the project and the professional competence of those involved.
Poem Stellium does not operate as a clinical mental health service, and participation in the network does not involve providing psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment or clinical services on behalf of the organisation.
A Mutually Beneficial Approach
We believe that professional collaboration should be a two-way relationship.
While the knowledge and experience of our collaborators can make a valuable contribution to Poem Stellium’s initiatives, we also recognise the importance of supporting their professional interests and visibility.
We want our network to provide opportunities for professionals to share their knowledge, contribute to meaningful conversations, develop creative ideas and connect with new audiences.
Where appropriate, collaborators may have opportunities to:
- Share their professional knowledge and areas of expertise.
- Participate in interviews, discussions and creative projects.
- Explore subjects that reflect their professional interests.
- Develop collaborative workshop or event ideas.
- Receive recognition for their contributions to Poem Stellium.
- Be introduced to our wider creative community.
We are also developing a dedicated space on our website to introduce members of our professional collaborative network.
With their agreement, collaborators may be featured through a professional biography highlighting their qualifications, relevant experience, areas of interest and professional platforms.
We believe that recognising the individuals behind our collaborations is an important part of building a respectful and supportive professional community.
How the Network Works
Our network is designed to remain flexible and project-based.
Professionals who express an interest in collaborating with Poem Stellium will be considered according to their qualifications, experience, professional interests and the potential relevance of their expertise to our activities.
Where there is an opportunity to explore a professional relationship further, we may invite applicants to participate in a written interview or an introductory discussion.
Relevant professional qualifications, memberships and references may also be requested as part of our review process.
Once a collaborative relationship has been established, professionals may be contacted about projects that align with their interests and expertise.
Participation in individual activities will always be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
Please note: This is currently a voluntary collaborative initiative. There are no fixed weekly hours or guaranteed opportunities. Any future paid opportunities, where available, would be discussed separately before an agreement is made.
