FEATURED SUBMISSIONS NARRATIVE ART

WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR FEATURED SUBMISSIONS.

Poem Stellium offers a Featured Submission option for artists who wish to present their narrative work through a more curated and professionally presented showcase.

Featured submissions include one narrative artwork per open call, along with a short artist bio (up to 80 words), a professional headshot, and an optional video presentation such as a short walkthrough, reflection, or behind-the-scenes glimpse.

For contributors based in London, it may be possible to request a headshot or video session with our editor. If you are based on the outskirts of London and able to travel, you may also request a session. Contributors outside of London are welcome to submit their own media, provided it meets the following standards:

• Headshots should be high-resolution, taken in natural light, with a neutral background and no filters

• Videos should be at least 720p, with clear audio and a quiet, clean background

The featured submission fee is £5. This fee supports the ongoing running of Poem Stellium, including equipment, editing tools, website hosting, and contributor support. All funds are reinvested into the platform, and none are taken as personal profit. This helps us maintain high-quality features while keeping standard submissions free and accessible.

Featured submissions are only accepted during announced open calls. You may submit one narrative artwork per open featured term.

Submissions are open to artists worldwide. All work must be original, previously unpublished, and written in English if text is included. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. All submissions must be submitted as PDF files; other formats will not be reviewed.

You retain full copyright of your work. By submitting, you grant Poem Stellium a one-time, non-exclusive right to publish your piece. Once published, your work will remain on the platform unless you request its removal.

If your submission is selected, you will be contacted within one month. If you do not hear back within that time, your work was not selected, and you are welcome to submit again during a future open call.

If your work has previously been published on Poem Stellium through an open call, please do not submit again unless participating in a competition. This helps ensure space for new voices and artists.
