FEATURED SUBMISSIONS NARRATIVE ART
WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR FEATURED SUBMISSIONS.
Poem Stellium offers a Featured Submission option for artists who wish to present their narrative work with a more curated, professional showcase.
FEATURED INCLUDES:
- One narrative artwork per open term
- A short artist bio (max 80 words)
- A professional headshot
- An optional video presentation (e.g., a short walkthrough, explanation, or behind-the-scenes glimpse)
MEDIA NOTES:
- London-based contributors can request a headshot/video session with our editor
- If you’re on the outskirts of London and willing to travel, you may still request a session
- Contributors outside London may submit their own media, provided it meets our standards:
- Headshot: High-resolution, natural light, neutral background, no filters
- Video: Minimum 720p, clear sound, quiet/clean background
FEE: £5
The £5 submission fee supports the running costs of Poem Stellium — including equipment, editing tools, web hosting, and contributor support.
All funds are reinvested into the platform. Nothing goes toward personal profit. This helps us maintain high-quality offerings while keeping Standard submissions free.
SUBMISSION SCHEDULE:
We accept submissions twice a year on a term-on, term-off basis.
You may submit one narrative artwork per open Featured term.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:
- Open to artists worldwide
- Work must be original, previously unpublished, and in English (if text is included)
- Simultaneous submissions are welcome — notify us immediately if accepted elsewhere
- All submissions must be submitted in PDF format. Other file types will not be reviewed
COPYRIGHT AND RIGHTS:
- You retain full copyright
- By submitting, you grant Poem Stellium a one-time, non-exclusive right to publish your work
- Your narrative art will remain on our platform unless you request removal
RESPONSE TIME:
If selected, a member of our team will contact you within one month.
If you don’t hear from us, your work was not selected. We encourage you to try again in a future open call.
NOTE:
If your work has previously been published on Poem Stellium through an open call, please do not submit again unless it’s part of a competition. This ensures we continue to make room for new voices and artists.
