Writing with Nature is a Poem Stellium offering centred on creativity, presence, and connection to the natural world.
These sessions invite writers to step outside, slow down, and write in conversation with their surroundings — the trees, the sky, the sounds, the movement of the day.

What are Writing with Nature sessions?

Writing with Nature sessions take place in parks and green spaces across London.
Locations will vary and will always be announced in advance.
Sessions primarily run during the warmer months and on suitable warm days, allowing us to write comfortably and be fully present outdoors.
Each session is gently guided and designed to feel spacious, grounded, and welcoming.

How the sessions work

These sessions involve:

  • Gentle walking through the park
  • Pauses to write and reflect
  • Time spent observing and responding to what we notice around us

We may stop to write when something catches our attention — the light, the breeze, the sky, a moment of stillness.

There is no pressure to perform or share. You are welcome to write quietly, take breaks, or simply sit and observe.

Writing with Nature sessions take place in different parks and green spaces across London.

We will always:

  • Share the exact location in advance
  • Provide a clear meeting point (such as a park entrance or landmark)

These sessions are not fixed to one area and will vary throughout the season.

Please come prepared

To ensure your comfort and wellbeing, please come prepared with:

  • A blanket or something comfortable to sit on
  • A notebook and pen
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Sunscreen
  • Comfortable shoes suitable for walking
  • Any personal medications (e.g. inhalers, EpiPens, hay-fever medication)

If you have allergies, asthma, or other medical needs, please ensure you bring any required medication with you.

What may be provided

Depending on the session, I may bring small extras such as:

  • Water
  • snacks & APPETIZERS
  • Writing prompts
  • Simple writing resources

Any additional provisions will always be communicated in advance.

Participation

Some Writing with Nature sessions may include a small participation fee.
