Poem Stellium welcomes poetry and short writing during selected submission periods throughout the year. These are general submissions, meaning there is no required theme. Writers are free to submit work in any style, form, or subject when submissions are open. There are no reading fees and no submission fees.
Poetry and short story submissions open once or twice a year, depending on capacity and timing. During an open period, contributors may submit one poem or one short piece of writing. Please only submit when submissions are open, as work sent outside an open call will not be reviewed.
Submissions are open to writers worldwide. All work must be original, previously unpublished, and written in English. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but if your work is accepted elsewhere, please notify us as soon as possible. Previously published work will not be considered. Submissions should be entered directly through the form provided, and external links are not accepted.
Writers retain full copyright of their work. By submitting, you grant Poem Stellium a one-time, non-exclusive right to publish your piece. Once published, your work will remain on the site unless you request its removal.
If your submission is selected, you will be contacted within one month. If you do not hear back within that time, your work was not selected, but you are welcome to submit again during future open calls.
If your work has previously been published through a Poem Stellium open call, please wait for a competition or special call before submitting again. This helps ensure space and opportunity for as many writers as possible.
