but each step forward is a powerful climb.

She shines through darkness that tried to win,
never gave up—fighting fire from within.
Now she holds the key and she’s breaking free,
no longer the version they wanted her to be.

She’s finally choosing herself today,
letting all the pain slowly fade away.
She sees her worth, the beauty they blurred—
and yes, she’s amazing—spread the word.

They made her feel like she wasn’t enough,
doubting her value, love felt rough.
Chasing crumbs they carelessly threw,
but that chapter’s done—she’s starting anew.

She’s taken back the pen from their hands,
now writing a story that proudly stands.
The sparkle’s returned, tears washed away,
she glows with power and knows what to say.

She says no to what doesn’t align,
protecting her peace—her magic, divine.
No longer ruled by fear or doubt,
she’s rising strong from the inside out.

Beautiful soul, no need to hide—
she’s ready for her own magic carpet ride.
A diamond in the rough, polished and tough—
she was always worthy, always enough.

Bexy Louise is a debut poet and creative entrepreneur based in Birmingham, UK. Her work explores mental health, healing, and self-love, drawing from her own experience of navigating hard seasons and finding her way back to herself.
