My imagination is more violent than I could ever be.

It is disturbed.
It is broken.

I am Jekyll and my mind is Hyde. 

I wish the noise would stop.
The war in my mind.

It is far from kind,
Something I so greatly despise.

How am I to love,
When my mind doesn’t feel like mine?

My name is Sam Vallius, and I am a multi-disciplinary writer based in the UK with a passion for poetry. My poetry is a window into my mental health journey, the struggles of my diagnosis, and outwards into personal desires, hopes and dreams and more. My writing is complex and varied, leading to art that has evolved through strength in vulnerability. I would love for my work to reach those that can see themselves in these words, so much so that they feel less alone, for however long they need it to.
