Let Your Voice Be Heard: Share Your Story
Break the Stigma. Speak Your Truth.
Mental health affects all of us — yet too often, it remains hidden behind silence, shame, or misunderstanding. At Poem Stellium, we believe in the healing power of truth-telling. We’re building a space where stories aren’t just heard — they’re honoured.
We invite you to share your story — the raw parts, the beautiful parts, the parts that still hurt. Whether you’re in the midst of it or looking back on it, your voice matters. Because when one person speaks up, another finds the strength to keep going.
Why Your Voice Matters
Your lived experience carries weight. You never know who might see themselves in your words. Sharing your story can:
- Break through isolation and shame
- Offer comfort or solidarity to someone else struggling
- Shift public perception and challenge stigma
- Create space for your own healing
Stories hold power — even the fractured ones, especially the unfinished ones.
What Kind of Stories Can I Share?
There’s no “right” way to tell your truth. We welcome a range of experiences and tones, including:
- Living with depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, etc.
- Navigating therapy, medication, diagnosis, or misdiagnosis
- How astrology, spirituality, or creativity helped you survive
- Moments of crisis — and what pulled you through
- Letters to your past or future self
- Survivor stories: burnout, grief, loneliness, hospitalisation
- The quiet, slow journey of healing
We accept essays, poetry, letters, reflections — any format that feels authentic to you.
Can I Be Anonymous?
Yes. We understand that sharing personal experiences takes courage — and safety. You’re welcome to:
- Share under your name
- Use a pseudonym
- Remain fully anonymous
We’ll never publish your story without consent, and we’ll always honour your boundaries.
How to Submit
Send your story to: contact@poemstellium.com
Guidelines:
- Word count: 300 to 1,000 words (flexible)

What Happens Next?
If your story is selected, we may lightly edit it for clarity or flow — but we’ll always preserve your voice. You’ll be contacted before anything goes live. If you’d like, we can include your social links, artwork, or bio alongside your piece.
You’re Not Alone
This is more than just a call for submissions. It’s a call for community. A call for truth. A call for tenderness.
Your story deserves space.
Your voice is valid.
And someone, somewhere, might need exactly what you have to say.
